It has been two years since Rusty refused Bluestar's offer to join ThunderClan, and nothing is right in the forest. All-out war has been waging for three seasons straight, with WindClan and ThunderClan pitted against RiverClan and ShadowClan. Borders have moved, hierarchies have changed, and more blood has been shed in the forest than ever before. And things only seem to be getting darker.

With the forest spiraling towards anarchy, the future of the clans depends on the few noble warriors remaining and their ability to cope in this MELANCHOLY.
