Pure of Heart (new original shifter rp)

Once there was a species known as humans, and once there were seven continents. Then the earthquakes happened, the land shifted together, and the humans (who could not take living so close to each other without clear boundaries) fought to extinction in WW3.Now there is only one huge continent, known as Lancer, and at the top of the food chain are the once shunned supernatural creatures that used to hide in the shadows; Shifters. Lancer is almost a desolate place now, save for the few places which have just enough Shifters in the area to help replant the land.

There are two types of Shifters, one called the Pure-blood, which are the shifters who started it all. They shift into true animals, any type can be found amongst these people, and they tend to take on personality traits of their other form. The other types of Shifter are called the Tainted. They shift into anthropomorphic animals; they resemble their human forms just as much as their animal forms.

The two main factions are Blood and Sacrifice led by four Idols each. These eight leaders have been fighting over purity of bloodlines and territories since the beginning of Lancer. Blood is comprised only of Pure-bloods, while Sacrifice is only Tainteds. A huge rift has started between these two groups, while the smaller packs watch on in fear of a start of a possible war that could be just as catastrophic as the WW3, the Bloods and Sacrifices are completely oblivious to the pain they could cause to all of Lancer.
