GARLICFANG THIS TIME MAYBE I'LL BE BULLET PROOF |
offended by the fact he wasn't told what was going on, the white tom pouted, and looked at the others, listening and trying to catch on the conversation to hear what they were talking of. however, he did hear of a journey. a journey to where? he thought irritably, ear flicking.
he felt a little perturbed, unable to find out what was going on. What was this journey? Of course, there was prey disappearing and burrowing in their ... well, burrows, but they would return, so why move now?
For one, he thought it was stupid to move; it was just the winter. It was the same everywhere. The forest would grow back, it wouldn't kill them to live in a black, scorched forest.
But then again, he had no idea what the journey was all about. He was making presumptions, and pretty bad ones at that. And it was most likely he was going to speak up, and then get corrected, leaving him feeling like a berry.
the tom wanted to make sure first, and made himself at home (even if he was) and lay down on the ground, mouth open and pink eyes wide. He was going to speak up lying down.
"i'm sorry, who's leaving?" the clueless cat asked, though it sounded so much better in his mind. in his head, he said it confidently, but he sounded like a duck trying to meow.
he tried to make himself more .. mature by fluffing up his chest fur and pushing it out. "i mean, like, er, uh," he started to stutter, tongue stuck on his teeth. "who's leaf-ing?" he said quickly.
