ROSEFLIGHT ✻ THUNDERCLAN
namereasoningRosekit☻Rosepaw☻ RoseflightThe prefix of rose- was chosen for the girl because of her sandy tan color, dyed a sort of pink for the first few hours of her life. Her mother and father found her ceaselessly charming for a young kit, and joked over the pink color of her for so long that they eventually named her last; Rosekit was based solely off of an inside joke that only those present to her birthing would know, but the prefix now holds water in the girl’s quiet and gentle beauty.age
The suffix of -flight was given to her because of her apprenticehood eagerness to race her mentor, chase the monsters of the Thunderpath, and run her prey until they were exhausted before finally catching them. She’s active, springy, and her strides proved long and leaping and fast, reminiscent of a gust of wind ripping through the bushes. The suffix does imply grace, but that seemed to be the more humorous addition to the name - Roseflight is terribly clumsy, if she runs too fast or turns too sharply.Twenty-four moonsgenderShe-catallianceThunderclanrankWarriorphysique
short descriptionA dark cream tabby she-cat with long legs and bright green eyes.
physical descriptionroseflight | The she-cat is a nymph; nubile, slender, lean, she barely appears that she has any muscle at all, and it surprised her mentor extensively when she proved an amply-skilled hunter. She is not especially beautiful, but she is not unattractive; she is more the feminine expectation of a she-cat, with a little sprinkling of beauty to keep her gaining attentions. Her personality is what brings out the color and fire in her appearance, and every move is made with a bounce in her stride and a smile on her face. Her pelt is a dark, creamy tan, striped and flushed with cream as a tabby normally is - she inherited this pelt from her paternal grandmother, and when she was born, Roseflight was dyed a soft pink after her mother cleaned her, earning her the prefix of `Rose`. She is very obviously youthful, with sloping hips not yet matured for bearing kits, and a light leanness to her legs that only a young cat could have. Her pelt is close and short to her body, barely fluffy and clinging to every muscle and tendon she’s honed with experience, and this proves very ineffective in Leafbare.personality

the past
the historyBorn to a litter of three kittens, Rosekit was the last to be named of her two siblings. Heronkit and Thornkit were named easily for their fur colors and dark points - Heronkit for her white fur and black nose bridge and ear tips, and Thornkit for his dark brown and fluffy fur - but Rosekit was the runt of the litter, coming late behind her siblings and dyed pink by her birth. Her mother and father were delighted by the small she-cat, and she was quickly named Rosekit, solely for the pink color of her fur. Her siblings were very watchful of their younger sister in youth, both larger and heavier and stockier than her in every which way. But Rosekit was the most adventurous, as if denying her small size and weak stature by escaping through the small hatchings of the Nursery and exploring the wide Thunderclan territory. She would pester the Elders, bother the older Queens, and often would wander into the Medicine Cat den if she didn’t pay attention to where she was going. Her penchant for escaping trouble by running out of reach of those who were after her eventually earned her a reputation of being flighty and generally overexcitable.
Her apprenticeship came on time with her siblings, surprisingly enough. Though she was much smaller than her siblings, who grew large and muscular in their youth, Rosepaw proved to be an intelligent match for her brawny brother and sister, who supported her with every ounce of their beings. Their parents proved ample support as well, though they relied on the childrens’ respective mentors to guide them and teach them major life lessons. Rosepaw was a well-behaved learner, only stunted in her training by the sheer difference between her and her mentor; Cinderstroke was a craggled, senior she-cat who found Rosepaw’s easy excitement and naivety irritating, but equally charming. They often clashed, what with Rosepaw’s charisma and Cinderstroke’s realism often preventing them from getting along extensively, but the two proved a very strong pair when it came to battle strategy and partnership. Cinderstroke became a maternal figure to the young Rosepaw, who would ask for the older cat’s personal favor when it came to her warrior naming ceremony -- Cinderstroke’s opinion on the young she-cat’s name was put into specific thought when it came to the final decision.
Roseflight was only a freshly-minted warrior when her first real struggle occurred. A border patrol gone awry lead to an off-course run-in with a rival clan’s hunting party. Believing the Thunderclan patrol to have interrupted and ruined their hunt, the rival clan’s troops (Roseflight hadn’t known the scent, but they did smell rather mossy) immediately unleashed their pent-up aggression on the Thunderclan patrol. Being only four strong, Roseflight and her comrades were able to stave off the violence without haivng too much damage dealt to them, but nevertheless escaped limping and grumbling. It was from this that Rosefligth deduced she very much disliked violence, and would figure to avoid it altogether in her coming years. She has not experienced much of a warrior’s lifestyle, but she hopes that her dedicated and chipper attitude will be able to provide something for her Clan in the long run.about you
