The river fell in torrents over the cliff, the forge showing off its true strength to those who gazed upon it. For the she-cat who was sitting fairly close to the running, violent waters, she was intrigued. She ha never been a fighter so the violence in general wasn't what appealed to her, but it was the silent threat that wafted off from it. You get too close and I'll suck you in and bring you close to your death, if not to your death. She wasn't like some warriors who liked death, but she liked the threats. Threats intrigued her and she was no stranger to them. The only reason why she kept some of the toms that she enjoyed over the past some moons was because of the threats that she dreamed up to keep them loyal to her, even if she was never loyal to them. They knew that much, but most of the time her threats were good. The trickiest one was her "mate", Foxfoot. She had threatened him to stay with her when he found out that she was going behind his back with others, inside and outside the Clan, but she believed she had him right where she wanted him - beside her. The pure white she-cat grinned as she looked upwards to the sky that only had a few white clouds rolling across the blue expanse. The sun burned high in the air, almost directly above her head, or as directly upwards as it could. Too bad that the heat didn't reach down to the lands very well. The wind was chilled as it blew across the moors, unobstructed. Her pelt wasn't good at holding the heat in and she couldn't help but shiver as she got on her paws and started to walk away from the gorge, closer to the portion of the border with RiverClan where she night actually get to have a conversation with an "enemy" warrior should one show up. In the end though, she wouldn't care if it was a cat from another clan or her own that approached her for a conversation. Someone had to stumble upon her eventually, right? When another shiver racked through her body, she sighed and laid down on the ground, ignoring the snow that lay under her body. She could really use some male company at the moment, but she supposed any company would be all well and fine. After all, she liked talking to females as long as they weren't stealing her men. |
