burnt sycamore the forest was burned down very recently, only about 15 moons ago. every cat still remembers it, and shadowclan's territory was severely compromised. the burnt sycamore, home of young owlets and squirrels, is the last remembrance of the better days. now, because nothing lives here, it is used as training for young apprentices. |

carrionplace when times become desperate, shadowclan is forced to eat from the carrion, where dead animals, rotting food, and trash piles up before the twolegs come to take it away. the clan has resorted to hunting crows and vultures that prey on the carrion, and sickness is a risk many cats are willing to take. |

shadowclan thunderpath while this is also the border between thunderclan and the new skyclan, their side of the thunderpath contains a tunnel that leads under it and over to thunderclan territory. because skyclan is starving, they often sneak over to take voles and mice from the bigger, more successful clan. the tunnel belongs to them, and so there is little risk of being run over by a monster. |

the marshes the marshes require only the most skilled warriors. the terrain is uneven, with sinkholes and so much mud a warrior could lose their legs trying to walk through it. the mud has sucked up many kits in the past six years, so shadowclan has learned how to hop from island to island. salamanders, mudfish, and mice all live in this area of the marsh, but no fresh water can be found. |
